Ingredients
7 oz (200 g) of white chocolate
6 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
*Optional 1/2 cup of chopped almonds
Directions
In a small pot, melt the butter and 5 oz of the white chocolate. Stir it, and set aside after it melts.
Chop the remaining 2 oz of white chocolate.
Mix the sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla. The batter will be very thick.
Add the melted butter and chocolate and mix.
At the end, add the chopped chocolate and almonds, if you choose to add them in.
Spread the batter in a 11 in x 7 in (28 cm x 18 cm) pan
Bake at 350 F (180 C) for 25-30 min
Thoughts
This is a very quick and easy dessert to make. It is one of those recipes that I make when I want something sweet, but I don’t have much time or I need it soon because I have guests coming. I love anything white chocolate, and this has a very rich white chocolate flavor. Brownies are very common and ordinary, but blondies not as much, yet they are equally, if not more delicious.
It disappears in a matter of minutes with many fans of this pastry in my family, so I often double the ingredients and make it in a 13 in x 9 in (33 cm x 23 cm) pan at the same temperature for approximately the same amount of time.
I made it this summer for my grandparents, and they fell in love with it. It was the first time they ever tried it, and they couldn’t believe that they haven’t discovered this deliciousness before. We took it to a trip to the lake as a little snack, and now, every time I make it, I get reminded of beautiful summer days spent in Poland at the lake with them 🙂
Enjoy!
I’ve never made blondies before bit this seems an easy (and yummy) recipe

I’ll definitely add in the almonds! I have such a weakness for blondies … !
