Ingredients
7 oz (200 g) of dark chocolate
6 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Directions
In a small pot, melt the butter and 5 oz of the dark chocolate. Stir it, and set aside after it melts.
Chop the remaining 2 oz of dark chocolate.
Mix the sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla. The batter will be very thick.
Add the melted butter and chocolate and mix.
At the end, add the chopped chocolate.
Spread the batter in a 11 in x 7 in (28 cm x 18 cm) pan.
Bake at 350 F (180 C) for 25-30 min.
Thoughts
This was the first time that I tried making my own brownies, and I was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out. The chocolate flavor was very rich. They were not gooey like brownies from the store, but rather dense, and I really like how rich in flavor they turned out. I might tweak this recipe a bit next time I bake these to make them ideal and a little softer, but I really enjoyed them as they are according to this recipe.
Let me know your thoughts on these! Enjoy 🙂
You can’t beat a good brownies recipe😊
