Thoughts

This is the ideal dessert for the summer. It is light and not too sweet. The fruit is the perfect addition to this summery treat.

The flavor is similar to that of a cheesecake, but it is much lighter as it is yogurt based. It is also easier and faster to make than a regular cheesecake. The texture is very smooth and fluffy.

I think it tastes the best once it is chilled. It becomes more refreshing.

This has been a summer favorite for me and everyone that I have made it for. I love eating it when sitting outside and drinking some cold lemonade or a smoothie.

Enjoy 🙂

  8. Awesome technique, mixing and forming the crust by hand. Bumps up the “handmade” percentage a few spots. How do you imagine it would be with thinly-sliced peaches and raspberries atop it? Going for the whole “Melba” theme.

    1. I think it would taste great! I’ve tried it with raspberries before but not peaches. Let me know how it turns out 🙂

      1. Definitely, though I’ll wait a month or so for Chambersburg peaches, the best available here in the Northeast. Wouldn’t want to insult the tart, after all!

      2. Chambersburg peaches are perfect just about now, so I’ll attempt your tart this weekend. We’ll see how successful I am Saturday or Sunday!
